Golden Bells English Medium High School, Kalyanadurgam

The community took a big leap as it dared to venture into a new missionary activity into the field of education. Of course there was a small beginning made in Church Colony but the decision to start a full-fledged school was indded a courageous step under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Golden Bells School run by Mr. David was bought by us in 2004. It was a high school with Government recognition with satisfactory strength. Fr. Joy Sebastian was appointed as the first correspondent and Head Master at this school. The school is located in the outskirts of Kalyanadurgam town by the dies of Kalyanadurgam- Bellary State highway, in the district of Anthaapur, Andhra Pradesh.

Our presence boosted the work in the school and since then many children joined our school. Our priests with their dedication and commitment are able to bring the school to one of the reputed schools in Kayanadurgam. The commendable work of Fr. Joy Sebastian (2004-2008) with the assistance of other priests, Fr. Roy Joseph (2004-2005), Fr. Siby Joseph (2005-2008) and the service of regents and deacons are well recorded in the history of the school. We have undertaken various developmental work like extension of the building, providing hostel facility, good play ground and of course, the standard of education which makes the school as the first in passing percentage in the Kalyanadurgam Mandal.
