Holy Trinity Church, Koyyalagudem (2003)

The Holy Trinity Parish, Gavarvaram village at Koyyalagudem, Mandal, in the civil distric of West Godavary, in the Diocese of Eluru with its 22 substations was entrusted to us by Most Rev. John Mulagada, the Bishop of Eluru in 2003. The parish church is located by the side of Nallacharla-Koyyalagudem Road about one k.m. away from Koyyalagudem in Andhra Pradesh.

The parish established in 1969 is one of the oldest parishes in the diocese. Over the years many priests of the diocese rendered their service. Later the parish was given to the care of our community. We are making all effort that the mission will develop and the Christian faith may get deepened in the faithful.

The mission has two acres of land which is cultivatable. There was also a hostel run for the handicapped children but closed down recently for various reasons. Salasesian Sisters render their service in the parish while they also run an English Medium School. One year back this parish is divided and made another parish in Bayyanagudem.
