St. Joseph church - Jalli Vary Pullala Cheruvu (2017)

J.P Cheruvu was a sub-station Under Giddalur parish, later it was erected as an independent parish with two sub stations namely Akkapalle and Chinnaganepalle. Though it was made a parish the priests were not residing at J. P Cheruvu as the presbytery of the parish was built in Racherla village one of the sub stations of J.P Cheruvu at that time, which was also was the Mandel headquarters.

It was in the year 2017 the long-cherished dream of the faithful to have Priests residing at the parish itself came to fulfillment with the construction of the parish house at J.P Cheruvu. The parish house was constructed by Fr. Mundagiri Hrudhya Raj. The very same year this Parish was entrusted to the Care of Holy Spirit Fathers and Rev. Fr. Gundiga Showry was appointed as the first parish priest from our Community then fr. S. Periyanayagam, Fr. Mobin Simon and fr. Suresh Y is the Parish Priest at present. The parish is 150 years old and recently they celebrated the sesquicentennial 150th years of Jubilee.

During our presence in the parish our priest has done developmental work in the parish namely construction of stage at Lourdhu Giri, construction of Stage at the parish house, construction of Grotto Our lady of Good Health, drilling of two Bore wells at the parish church and Chinnaganepalle
