Galijerugulla Parish (2008): The newly erected parish called Galijerugulla bifurcated from two parishes called Besthavaripeta and Bommarole. It was erected on 15th of May 2012. Here we have seven villages which make the parish. The parish is located twenty five kms away for Beshtavaripet town and Mandal in Prakasham district of the Diocese of Nellore. Fr. Jayraj took charge of the parish and did a wonderful job for gathering the faithful into Christian faith. Later the parish was given back to the diocese.
In the year 2012, the community under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Arul Samy felt the need of extending our presence in the diocese of Nellore. At the request of the then Provincial Superior Rev. Fr. Arul Samy, the Bishop of Nellore had consented to render pastoral ministry in the diocese of Nellore.
Singarapalli was under the Bestavaripeta Parish. The distance between the Parish and to its last sub-station is about 35 kms. Therefore, it was very difficult for the Priest to come often to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and to meet the spiritual needs of the people. The bishop, with the intention of fulfilling the spiritual needs of the people, the Bishop bifurcated the Parish and erected Singarapalli as the new Parish so that the priests will be available to the people. Singarapalli has 7 sub-stations namely Akkapalli, Cherukapally, Chennupalli, Barlakunta, Hanumayapalli, Singsanapalli and Konapalli.
After the bifurcation of the Parish Fr. Jaya Raju was appointed as the first Parish Priest and he worked tirelessly. His works are commendable.
During our presence in the parish our priest has done developmental work in the parish nameloy Construction of the church at Chennupalli, Construction of the church at Hanumayapalli, renovation of the church at Singarapalli and the Borewells at Singsanapalli and Barlakunta.
